Once again I stumbled upon a shopping website but this time it was for fashion jewellery (http://www.yourfashionjewellery.com). While that is not really what I'm into, I did browse the site and found all the bracelets and other jewelry are very nice and you can't go wrong for price. If I was purchasing a gift for my mom or a girlfriend, I would definitely look at this site.

You can find all sorts of different jewelry such as handbags, bracelets, rings, costume jewellery and much more. The website is very easy to access and navigate through so you won't get lost like some sites trying to find something. There's even a section for celebrity jewelry.

7 Eleven Pizza

Ok so I'm not saying I dislike 7-11 but there is something seriously wrong with their frozen pizza.

Anyone that has ever bought one will probably understand where I'm coming from when I say that their pizza SUCKS!!! Not taste wise though...They actually taste pretty good.

I always buy one when I'm on my way to a friends house and you would have thought that I would learn my lesson but I guess I just hope they'll get better each time. Sure enough I'm always disappointed.

Just by looking at the packaging you can tell that they get beat up a lot on the truck. I think the truck driver has an anger issue with frozen products.

Anyways, let cut to the chase... If you ever buy one of these disaster $5.99 pizzas, you'll probably end up with a pizza that has all the cheese on one side and only a few pepperoni's. See the picture. This has happened to about the last 10 pizzas I bought from there.

Now how the hell does this even happen. I mean come on, the pizza's frozen! How does all the cheese get to one side? Also, why does 7-11 have to skimp on the Pep's. Are the Jew's putting these on or something? (No offense) Arrrrrrr.... It really grinds my gears!

I could go to Dominos and get a $5.00 crappy pizza, but at least I'll get it proportional and full of pepperoni.. So stay far away from 7-11's pizza cause you won't be too happy.

Oh yeah, I also called 7-11's customer satisfaction number to bitch and they told me a representative will contact me BUT...haven't heard a word. Go figure...

On a side note though,7-11 does have cheap natty light!

3ix.com Is The Worst Hosting Company

So I thought I should share with you all what hosting company to NOT use. I tried 3ix out because it was cheap. What I found out was that they are cheap but their servers are never up! One of my sites was actually down for an entire week. This would happen constantly and all they ever said was "There's a load on the servers, please check back in 6-8 hours".

Now come on, what kinda BS is that!

There customer service sucks and is based in India...go figure. Here are a couple chat logs of what was said. You will see for yourself how horrible and unhelpful they really are.

Repairpal.com Review

I recently came across repairpal.com on my quest to find out how much it would cost to fix my car. I didn't want to just take it to any San Diego auto repair store so I figured I try online first. The website had both it's ups and downs but first let me first give you a little background on what was going on.

I took my Ford F-150 to autozone the other day because my check engine light came on. I know it's still under warranty right now but only for another 1,000 miles so I figured I better get it in soon. After going to autozone and having them hook it up to their machine, they told me it was the coolant temperature censor. Now I really have no idea what that is and how much that would cost so I figured I should look it up prior to taking it in. I do think i have a deductible if I remember correctly.

Now if you haven't noticed, auto mechanics have a tendency to rip people off and overcharge them for certain things. So I went online to find quotes so I knew what to expect when I brought in my car. When I came across repairpal.com, my first thought was "cool, I can get an estimate right here". I typed in my cars make model and year and then it asked me to choose a type or repair. So I'm looking through the list trying to find coolant temperature censor but couldn't find it. Then I saw the search box and thought "ok, let's try that". So I typed it in a guess what...still nothing. Everything just got greyed out. I tried a few different categories thinking maybe it would be there. I thought wrong. I eventually gave up and and went back to google. Maybe it was just me or maybe not. When I see a search box though it should do an actual search and not just eliminate categories base on the word you type in. That's really my only complaint about the site.

There are a few things though that I did like about repairpal.com. For instance, you don't need to register or anything to get an estimate. It's a very clean and simple site to use. I've seen some sites that make it almost impossible to do anything on. It also tells you what places are near you so you don't have to do a separate search on that.

So the bottom line is, if you need your coolant temperature censor replaced, repairpal.com might not help you. Although, there are about 50-60 other categories to choose from so you might be in luck if say you needed a power steering pressure hose. I guess I just happened to have the one problem not listed on their website. Lucky me!

I would recommend checking out the auto shop first because it only takes a second and who knows, they might be able to help you. It definitely beats searching google for a hour.

"Mystery Team" Movie Review

So, I watched this the other night and have read a few other reviews about people saying that this blew but I beg to differ....

Now by no means do I think this was a great film, or even a good film for that matter, I can say though that it kept me entertained throughout the entire movie.

So, you have 3 geeky nerds that act like they are in 3rd grade although they are really 18 and they have their own detective agency. That about sums up the movie in a nutshell. Their typical case is "Someone stuck their finger in a pie" but now there taking on a murder case for 10 cents. Yeah... I know what your thinking.

Mystery Team is one of those movies that you will either enjoy and find it kind of amusing or you will probably completely hate it and think its retarded. I found a lot of the parts to be quite funny even though they were stupid. It's kind of like taking an 18 year old person and putting the brain of a 6 year old and this is what you end up with. When you watch this, you'll see what I'm talking about.

This is by no means meant for a child to watch even though the cover may look like it. There is nudity (only 1 scene) and a lot of swearing. If you're 18 and you think girls are yucky, then this will be right up you're alley.

In my last post I reviewed "The Other Guys" and this one is by far more funny. I would definetly watch this again before I watch "The Other Guys".

So if you're looking for a quick laugh and to be entertained, then by all means check this out. If you don't expect anything superb, you won't be disappointed. I'll give it a C+/B- for entertainment purposes, but probably a C overall.

"The Other Guys" Movie Review

I recently watched this disaster of a movie thinking that it might be kind of funny. Boy was I wrong!

Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg should not have been casted in this movie! I repeat...Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg should NOT have been casted in this movie!

Neither one of them made me laugh at all. It was a very cheesy plot, the acting was horrible, and the directing sucked as well. I'm not exactly sure what the writers and producers were thinking when they thought that this would be a good film.

First of all, I like seeing Mark Wahlberg in films where he's playing more of a bad-ass. Like Shooter, Fear, or Four Brothers. He has no business being in a comedy...well at least not this one. "The Big Hit" was Ok. As for Will Farrell, He acts his typical self like he does in every movie. I'm not a real big fan of him either so that really doesn't help the situation. The movie had a lame plot (I don't even remember it entirely, that's how boring it was) and bad supporting actors. When you try to be TOO funny, it just isn't. Bottom Line!

So was there anything good about this film? Well, not really. The wooden gun was a little funny for about 1/2 a second, then it got old real fast. I'm also pleased to say that I didn't have to witness Vince Vaughn in this. He would have only made it worse...which is hard because it already sucked.

I would rather be standing in line at the DMV than have to watch this again. Anyone that thinks that is funny is smoking something really good!

I won't recommend this to anyone! D- on my scale and that's being polite. If you don't believe me, find out for yourself.

The Truth About Web Design Companies Exposed

I've been seeing more and more web design companies popping up all over the place and thought I would share with you why you shouldn't go to them.

First of all, if your looking to have a website built for a new or existing company or you just want one for personal use, make sure you do a little homework first. Most people think, "let's call up this company because I saw there snazzy ad and have them build me a site". WRONG!!!

Web design companies are simply there to take your money...bottom line. Are they professional? Sometimes. Do they do good work? Probably. So why shouldn't I use them?

Well the simple answer...YOUR GETTING RIPPED OFF! There a lot of companies, especially in the Las Vegas area that will overcharge you for very basic work. I'm not going to list them on here because I don't want to discredit anyone but if you ask, I might just share a few. Let me say
this... I used to work for a company that paid me only $10 an hour to design web sites. I didn't stick around that long because that is horrible. Any designer/programmer will tell you that their skills are worth MUCH MUCH more than that. To us, that's a slap in the face. Do you want to know what they charge their clients? Anywhere from $90 to $150 per hour!!! Yeah you heard me. So while I get the sh*! end of the stick, they're making a killing! If the company decides to charge per project, it could be anywhere from $2,000 to $30,000, depending on how much needs to be done. Then you have to take into consideration any updates that need to be made in the future. That could get very pricey!

Now I could charge someone $30k for a website and work on it all year and that would be my salary. Let me tell you though, I could create a new Facebook or Amazon type site within 3 months by myself.

Did you know that a lot of web design companies out there will also create your site off of wordpress templates or other templates. This allows them do get done faster and start on a new one. These companies can't even take credit for their own work because they are stealing it from someone or somewhere else. Anyone could get a free wordpress site and tweak it to their style. If you want a custom made professional website, I highly advise against these so-called professional design companies.

Go look at a couple web design companies portfolios. Do they seem oddly familiar to you? Do they all look more or less the same? Same styles, fonts, etc? Now go look at wordpress made sites or google "web design template". Now do you see the similarity? So something you could get for free or really cheap just cost you $2k+ for a day of tweaking and content changes. Congratulations, now you've got "sucker" plastered all over you.

Other companies are still using "table designs". For those that don't know what table designs are, it's simply putting your website into table after table after table. If you right click on any web site and you see < table>< tr>< td> all over the place, that's probably a table designed site. That is the "Windows 95" way to create a website and that sucks.

NOW, If you're looking for a website, start out by looking around first. DO NOT go to the first company you see. DO NOT go to any company at all for that matter! Post an ad somewhere or ask around to people that know designers and developers. A lot of people do side jobs (like myself) who will give much better rates. It's very possible that the guy you hire would be the same guy to design your site if you went to the company he works for. So would you rather pay $10K for a site or $2K for the same exact site? The answer is a no-brainer.

You will also probably get better service with the local guy. Why? Well, if your not in a hurry, He's got the freedom to take his time on his own time and make sure that everything is 100% before he gives it to you. The company on the other hand will simply "Get it Done". Now I'm not saying that all companies do that, but most of them just want to get on to the next project so they can make more money. I see it going on all the time.

So as I'm writing this, I just received a call to create a new website. This person was referred by a past client of mine. That was bizarre! So should I charge $10,000?

It just goes to show you that you DO NOT need to go to a web design firm to have a site created! I urge you all to stay away from them! If anyone is looking for a new website, post a comment and let me know and I'd be happy to work around your budget.

The Wolfman - 2010

I went in to this movie with really high expectations which was probably the reason why I didn't really care for it. Now don't get me wrong, I love horror movies but this one just didn't do it for me. It wasn't really scary at all in my opinion.

At one point, the wolfman actually looked like one of the apes from "Planet of the Apes". Hmmmm.... not very wolfish. Also, towards the end of the movie when the two wolfmen were fighting, I couldn't tell who was who. They both looked exactly the same. How is anyone supposed to know who is winning and who to root for. I sure as hell didn't.

I think if there was more action and more scary or death scenes, the movie would have been that much better. I probably won't be watching this again for a very long time. Benicio Del Toro acting was good, but he could have done just a little bit better.

Overall, for a horror movie, I would give it a C+. Maybe, just maybe a B-

If your a big horror buff like me then I would say take a chance at renting it, otherwise wait till it on tv and watch it for free.

Ebay.com Really Grinds My Gears

I know all of you have visited ebay at some point or another and I would like to share with you my experience and why they suck-ass so much.

I tried using them a while ago to sell a friends car. Little did I realize that it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. There was an initial fee of $45.00 just to list the damn thing. Now what kind of crap is that. $45....really. It's the INTERNET...ITS FREE!

Well, me being the nice guy I am, trying to help a friend, continued anyways. So the car never sold after a week of it being listed and my friend told me to re-list the car. So I did.

I ended up re-listing the car 4 times to try and get it to sell, but it never did. I ended up with a bill of $245.00 just for TRYING to sell something that never did. Now does that seem right to you? I don't think so. Every time the auction ended, ebay said, "would you like to re-list your item". Of course I said yes not knowing that I was going to continue being charged. They don't tell you that either. They already have your credit card on file from the first time. Bastards!!!

So that whole ebay experience really pissed me off!

I think ebay finds any way they can to rip people off. From the High listings fees all the way down to taking a precent of your sales if you happen to sell something. Then they have the ebay stores...another ripoff where you're going to spend hundreds of dollars just to setup a store and then they still charge you per sale. Can you say Bull shit!

So Will I use them again? Fuck No! I think if I'm going to buy and sell online, I'll do it using alternative methods

Taco Bell - Food For Disaster

Ok, so I go to Taco Bell quite often and normally everything is good except this past Friday was a disaster! Why...Because they gave me food poisoning!

I ordered 3 crunchy tacos and everything seemed to taste fine. Well about 30 minutes after I ate them, I started to feel a little ill. By the time I got home, I felt extremely weak, my stomach hurt, and I was burning up!

Thanks to Taco Bell, I was throwing up and in the bathroom for about 5 hours off and on. I didn't even want to get out of bed. If anyone has ever had food poisoning before then you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I don't think I'll be visiting that Taco Bell anytime soon! Try cooking your meat to standards TB...Jerks!!!

Zombies Of Mass Destruction (2009)

To be honest with you, I actually kind of enjoyed watching this film. I was skeptical at first about watching this movie strictly because of the name itself. Don't let the poor name lead you away though. It's not laugh out loud funny or scary in any way but there are parts that made me laugh. Although, I'm not quite sure if I was supposed to or not.

For a low budget film, I was quite impressed. I'd have to say as far as the graphics went, they did a really good job. The plot on the other hand could have been a little better. I think they could have elaborated more on where the zombies actually came from though.

For people that love zombie movies, this will be right up your alley. It's not nearly as good as Zombieland or Shaun Of The Dead but it definitely worth a watch.

For a Zombie Comedy (Zomedy), I give it a B-

Facebook - "You Won't Find Me There"

Facebook? A great invention, or another way to lose your privacy?

I can't stand facebook.(not to mention all those other social networking sites). I really don't understand why people use it. Is it because you have no friends to begin with, or is it because everyone else has it so I might as well too? Either way, all your doing is losing whatever privacy you have left.

I don't need people to know what I'm doing 24/7 or who I'm dating or just broke up with. It's nobodies business but mine. People feel they have to share every little detail about their lives. Idiots...and then they wonder how their accounts get hacked or why they are being stalked by some creepy person.

I moved out of my home town because I was sick of the drama and bullshit from the people I knew. Now they call me up wondering why I'm not on facebook. Simple answer, "I don't want people knowing every detail of my life". Half of them are people I never liked in the first place so why would I want to talk to them? To catch up on old times? haha yeah right.

When you share that much information to the world about your daily routines and where you went to High School, you're just asking for something bad to happen. I think there's enough weirdos out in the world already and now you're just giving them an easier route to get you. Can you say "Sucker".

Have any of you people ever heard of the world "e-mail". Yeah, it's that thing you use to send electronic mail back and forth to people you know. And did you know you can attach images and documents to it...wow technology. But no, people post up pictures of themselves and others (who don't even want to be in them) but there tagged anyway, so now there's pictures floating on the open internet for everyone to see. But nobody cares about what other people might want or not want. That is why you'll never find me on facebook.

The worst is the teenagers though that sit on there for literally hours at a time.. What could you possibly be doing on facebook for that long? oh wait, probably playing some dumb-ass farm game..LOSER! Yeah, you know who you are. If you want to play a game that bad, there are much better ones on XBox, PS3 or Wii. If you want to talk to someone, pick up the fuckin phone. It's really not that hard.

The Losers - 2010

I think this movie (The Losers) could have been much better if it had better actors. While it wasn't the worst movie i've seen in a while, it certainly wasn't great by any means.

First off, the plot was just OK. Basically a bunch of military guys want revenge on Max for killing 25 of kids in a helicopter. Yeah i know, it sounds kinda stupid...but it could be worse.

Oh, for those of you out there that don't know my review style, I never go into the whole plot on any of my movie reviews because you can read the synopsis of the movie on imdb or any other site out there.

With that note, the characters, especially Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Clay) were pretty bad. He's supposed to be in charge yet he seems like a big dope. Picture the dopey brother from "Everybody loves Raymond" and that's what he reminds you of. For a military guy that's supposed to be a bad-ass, he's really just a big pussy. He doesn't do any cool stunts or have any great action scenes. He just stands there and somehow hooks up with the girl...go figure. As for the rest of characters, the only one I really like was Chris Evans (yeah the guy from Fantastic Four). Although...he pretty much plays the same character in this as he did in F4.

Would I recommend people seeing this movie? Well it's not that bad to watch if there's nothing else on. I guess to rent it for a dollar at red-box is ok just be sure to return it the next day. Anything more than a $1 is a waste. There are a LOT of better movies out there that I would rather recommend you seeing if you haven't yet..action wise. (Shooter, The Bourne Trilogy)

I would give this a D+

If the ending wasn't such a bomb, I might even give the a C-, but trust me, the ending will disappoint you..It just ends!

Come 'on Hollywood, get your act together...I could have done a better job with my eyes closed.

A Nightmare On Elm Street - 2010

Hmmmm....Where to begin with this one. I watched this last night thinking it was going to be good. The outcome? Well, I was very disappointed.

First off the acting was not very good at all. I'm sorry but you just can't replace Robert Englund as Freddy! The rest of the cast was pretty bad too, Especially Nancy's mom. Wow was that a disaster. On to Freddy....Freddy didn't even come close to looking like the original Freddy. He looked more like a burned sock puppet. It was pretty sad. Where did they find this guy???

Whenever I watch a horror movie I always get excited and can't wait for the death scenes. The deaths scenes in here were pretty lame. Compared to the remake of Friday the 13th, this seemed like it was edited for TV or something. The Original was more gruesome and graphic. I don't think they really put any effort in to making this actually scary or anything.

If I was Robert Englund, I would be very pissed off about this movie. I really hope Hollywood doesn't remake another one of these.

I wouldn't recommend anyone seeing this movie in the theater even if you are a huge horror fan. And believe me, I AM! Wait till it comes out on DVD.

At best its a C+
